Workspace

The workspace is the area where metadata will be displayed and where all actions will be performed. Except for the home section, all menu items will lead to the display of a default view to access a list of entities. It can be a grid containing cards, each one representing an entity of the same kind such as an application or a business term. It can also be a hierarchical view as it is the case of the default view of assets.

From this first default view, other views can be accessed as well as services to display metadata or perform actions. When browsing from on place to another, a breadcrumb is built in the header of the workspace to allow the user to go back to a previous page. The back button of the web browser, being not fully supported, it is recommended to not use it as it is also the case for the forward button.
